new headlight harness

I recently purchased a head light harness from the Classic Chevy Truck Parts of America for a 47-91 and the plug that is supposed to connect to the rest of the wiring harness is a three prong male plug and but the original is a two prong plug. Did they send me the wrong thing or do I to do some cutting and rewiring? Which wires connect where?

Is the third prong a common ground for both headlights?
