What's this gm steering wheel off of?
 

I saw this steering wheel in a pic and liked it. Can anyone tell me what it's originally off of? I think it's factory gm.

I think your wrong. 47-53 Chevy truck one has a more oval horn button and doesn't have the grooves in the spokes like the one in the pic.

That is a 1954 to 1956 steering wheel. you can get them from Brothers.

yep - I was going to say 54-55.1, but Bill may be spot on that they were carried over to 56.

The third spoke is what made me say 47 to 53 you can see the split winshield of the truck its in which is also 47 to 53 did they go to one piece windshield in 54 or 55 ?

The wheel is the same from 54 to 56. The horn caps are different. In the picture it a 54 to 55. The horn cap on a 55.2 to 56 are the same but a little different design. I'm looking at the brothers catalog right now for this info. You can see them at brotherstrucks.com
