Re: help with differance in cheyenne super
It's Cheyenne/10 and Cheyenne Super/10. The only thing a Cheyenne Super has over a cheyenne is woodgrain dash, upper side moulding (even on solid color),and a chrome tailgate handle on '71 or a stainless tailgate handle cover on '72. Chevy Custom,Custom Deluxe,Cheyenne, and Cheyenne Super are all trim levels. Custom is base and the others are an option. Tilt,a/c,tach,etc are all individual options available on any trim level and not included as standard on any. You can have a Custom/10 with a/c,tach,tilt,big block,TH400,posi,and on and on. You can have a Cheyenne Super with none of that and a 250 6cyl/3 on the tree

Cheyenne and Cheyenne Super are trim options basically. Most options like P/S, tilt, radio, tach, two-tone paint were stand alone. It is entirely possible to have a Cheyenne Super 6cyl 3OTT with solid paint. It was also possible to have most options (even a full foam seat)on a base/Custom truck except for the carpet and uplevel interior trim.
