Wing glass removal

I'm curious how everyone removes the glass out of the metal trim around the glass?

Seems that no one has done this?--I doubt that! At least, this post may bump you up a notch or two. Luck to you.

I just did this in my build last year. I took the door off but the steps are all the same with the door on.

Here's the writeup with pictures

Good luck!

replacing my door glass/vents this summer and wondering if the metal edges were originally chrome, paint or what?

block of wood (with a square edge) and hammer if it has the cork tape. if someone glued it in - good luck. if that's the case try heat or break it and dig out the chunks

How primitive can you get, cg285.......Gee Dude.
Gosh.

I have perfected and modernized the dreaded "Vent Glass Removal".

Super Blackhawk 44mag.
The passenger side should be "worked on" while sitting in the drivers seat and visa-versa.
(Any passengers should be advised of the nature of the work to be done prior to "pulling the trigger" on this repair.)

This is a good question I would like to know as well.

Thanks for the input from everyone. No offense I doubt if I try the hammer and block of wood. Knowing my luck I'll end up shattering the glass. Lol. Seriously considering using a heat gun to try and loosen the glue/tape.
