running again but not real well
Need some more help. Finally got my 86 running again. Was having issues with it not wanting to start but after replacing the electric choke thermostat it fires right off. When I drive it now it stumbles and falls on its face and try to die like it's flooding out. Any suggestions on how to fix this and make her run like new again?

More info needed!
Is it fully warmed up when it stumbles and falls on it's face? Do you have headers? Got a pic of your motor? |

are the plugs fouled?

Re: running again but not real well
Tyler, is the new choke adjusted properly? Try this. After you get it warmed up a little check the choke to see where it is. Is it closed or open? If it's closed, take a wood and spring clothes pin and open the choke and clamp the clothes pin over the flap to keep it open. Take a spin. Does it run better? And if it's an electric choke check for voltage to the choke coil.

Took it for a spin after leaning it out a little bit yesterday and ran fine. Thinking the damn engine gremlins were playing in there. Thanks for the help and support friends
