5 Contact Blower Switch

Hello, i have a 1975 Chevy Blazer with Air conditioning. While working under the dash i managed to break off a contact on the blower switch relay (The switch that turns the fan off, low, med & high). I've checked Rockauto.com but was unable to find a switch that matches my current one.

I have two plugs that attach to this switch. The main plug has 4 female connectors w/ a light blue, orange, green and black wire.

The second is a single female connector w/ an orange wire.

I cannot find a replacement that has that single male plug. Does anyone have a part number for this or know a supplier who has these in stock?

Images below of my current (broken) switch.

Trying to help you identify this. Can you take a picture of the front of it and also does it have any numbers on it as I work at a parts store and am researching it now. Your single wire connects to the upper right of this one I take it? If so since it is tied to the one next to it, you may be able to just splice off of it.

see if there is a part number google it and that will give you a new number which should lead to a current part number also check GM Parts Direct

Re: 5 Contact Blower Switch

This is essentially the part:

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...230&cc=1050051

According to their website part number 469368, SW1877

Listed on rockauto.com as a Blower switch relay. I've seen several and I'm sure they all work just fine, the issue is I can't find one with a 5th male connector.

If i expand the tree on rock auto to see this part it's as simple as:
Chevrolet,1975,K5 Blazer, 5.7L 4BRL, Electrical-Switch & Relay, Blower Switch.

Mine has the word "INDAK" stamped on the side. I've tried to JB Weld the internals of mine back together. My curiosity currently is around why does the one I removed from my truck have a 5th male connector and has anyone seen this before?

I've reviewed other heater control diagrams on this site and they show 5 wires attached to this switch. I'm wondering why the online sellers only show a 4 prong plug.

Re: 5 Contact Blower Switch

The GM catalog shows a part number of "00469368" SWITCH ASM., car heater and control fan (blower switch) (4 terminal) (Note 1) . With this being the added note.
"NOTE !: 1: When used on prior model years it may be necessary to tape up the 5th wire as it will not be needed."
