64 big block motor mounts
Ok so I have a 64 I am putting a big block in. I have to use tall valve that I have to use because of valve train what motor mounts will work or do I have to just cut the fire wall. It's is a 64 swb 1/2 ton step thanks

Hers what I did on a 1965 GMC short bed. I used the 1968-1970 style truck BB frame mounts that move the engine forward. Im not a fan of denting or cutting firewalls. These cleared by about a half inch.

Goat man, I've also got a big block to go into my 64. I'm a big fan of moving the engine as far down and back as possible(don't know how much that will be with a big block), so, I'll wind up cutting the firewall. But done right, they look good! There are a couple of posts on here showing big blocks in our trucks; some have been done really nicely, others for functionality. |

Yes Sir. Pretty much same as a 68-71 BB Truck as far as brackets and pulleys for short pump. Truck ran cool enough without a shroud as the fan was close enough to the radiator and I had it upgraded to a 4 core. I sure miss that truck,
