1995 60/40 seat install in an 83

I just picked up a used tan 60-40 seat out of a 95 for $60:metal: that I want to swap into my old squarebody. I've seen a few threads about using the existing 83 brackets with the new slider and seat, but I'm thinking this would only work on a full bench out of a later model.

There were a couple of 60/40 swaps I found so i know it can be done, just wondering if anyone has any detailed pics of exactly how they made it fit.

Hmmmm, got the seats. The driver's side (60) has power. I'm guessing if you used the bucket sliders it would mean ditching all the factory stuff under the seat now and just using the seat, right?

Anyone modified the existing 95-98 brackets with power seat to work?

I think I can make this work with some scrap steel, at least on the 60 portion of the seat.

On the 40 part of the seat, I was going to use my existing seat tracks off my 83 seat. They are too long. For those who have said the newer style seats will work by using the 73-87 sliders, did you cut them down or ?? Use the front hole and cut back down or use back hole and cut front down? Looks like I could use one existing back hole in the seat and the square body slider, then cut a couple of inches off the front of the slider and drill a new mounting hole in the slider for the front bolt.
