I recently parted an 87 Suburban and found the original unused spare tire still sitting on the factory mount. For the extreme purist out there, I can bottle up the original air from this tire so you can say that you're running 1987 air in your tires;)

Maybe Keith can confirm, but I never had a new car come with tags on the tires still. Only time I've had that happen is when I replace a tire and the store has a lazy kid mounting and balancing.

You could check the date code on the tire and spid rpo code (or build sheet ) would say for sure if (for the purist)
