Help with harness identification (pretty pictures included)
Can anyone help identify any of these connectors? Also, this apparently is a harness for an automatic trans, any tips on how to wire it properly for a manual (ie, clutch safety switch, back up lamps)?

Re: Help with harness identification (pretty pictures included)
Here is what I got to start.
Pic #1: This goes the the dual tank switch. Pic #3: Radio/speaker wires. Blue/light blue: Right rear speaker. Yellow/yellow&black: Left rear speaker Green/light green: Right Front speaker Gray/brown: left front speaker Three other wires for the radio: Yellow / Black / Gray: These are the power ,ground and lights for the radio. Pics #4, 7 and & 8 are the speaker wires. Pic #5 : heater control Pic # 6 : Fan speed switch. The backup lights will be triggered from the switch mounted on your trans instead of the column. Also instead of utilizing the white switch at the base of the steering column the neutral safety switch connects to the clutch release switch. These are not plug and play but I think there are wiring schematics posted on this site that can help. Hope this will help get you started. |

Re: Help with harness identification (pretty pictures included)
Tyler, do yourself 2 favors. First is to get a multimeter. HF has them cheap. Rewiring isn't rocket science. You need one with DC voltage and resistance. Second is to get a shop manual or, Hatzie has wiring diagrams in his signature here.
