Where to buy headliner bows???

Anybody know a company that is producing these bows? I am coming up empty handed. Would like a metal set. Let me know. Thanks

Far as I know, those are still a salvage part.

Here's a link showing how you can make your own bows with some 3/16" rod.

That's the wrong type of bows. Our Surburbans have wide trim style bows. Thanks anyways. Anyone else with suggestions?

I've never removed mine.

Doesn't the plastic chrome trim piece just snap over the rod?

No, they snap into a "channel". The headliner guy broke some of mine last year (no fault of his, they are really brittle). Hoping someone could point me to a company that makes a new set.

May just remove them all, JB Weld the broken/weak areas and then paint them white to match the headliner. May just have to give that a try when it warms up....hopefully soon!!!

If you're good with a slightly non-stock look, the bows from a '94-97 Dodge Van will work. You'll need to trim about 1-1.5" off the length. They snap nicely into the stock Suburban channel and come with their own end caps. I believe Mopar no longer makes new ones, but they're available in the wrecking yards.

There is a guy on this board (and CL) selling bows. They may be gone already, but its worth a shot: http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/pts/4325386261.html
