67-72 extended cab pictures - something different

Been looking for a while for pictures of a very short extended cab , probably only 6" more behind the doors , no extra windows. Saw it years ago , could never find it again - any help out there?

Wish I could help you but sadly I can not. I would like to see it myself.

A few years ago I did a few Photoshops of this concept. There are a few issues to address though. That 6" has to go somewhere..... does the frame get longer? or the bed get shorter?
IIRC, I did these by stretching the doors, so the cab looks the same behind the doors.

Those pics are not on this computer though, I will hunt them down later.

As far as where the 6" could go , the thought would be a longhorn frame with a standard 8' bed , sound's simple!

I remember reading about a truck stretched in the doors for a pro basketball player. Wait I think it was a Jeep. Nevermind.

Well that thing is all sorts of different parts.

"THE TRUCK HAS HAD A SMALL DASH FIRE BUT STILL RUNS." Really? At least he was honest.

There was a silver stepside that was stretched in the doors, if I remember right it was seen at the Texas GoodGuys quite a few years ago. I liked the look of it.
These extended cabs (to me... in my opinion) look weird because the rounded top of the door now looks out of place. My thought would be if your going to do it, either stretch the doors or use Suburban door maybe...

Here is a thread that I posted to several times with a concept for a stretched cab and doors creating a 127" wb shortbed.

Had a few so I whipped up a plus 9" K20.

It has a bit of a chopped top look to it. Being 6'4" I think I'd be more comfortable. But I like the stock look better.
