Any pics of DIY rear upper shock mounts?

lakeroadster had a good thread on this, but he is currently blocked for some reason and none of the pics show up on my computer. Was thinking of doing this as well as moving the shocks to the outside of the frame like 66farmer did for room to run the exhaust.

Yes, I am well aware that I can buy these from many vendors, but am asking about a DIY version. For a few dollars in scrap metal and a little time, and also to give a little fabrication practice, that's what I want to do.
Soooo, can anyone help me out with this?

I think the first thing they do is take the stock shock brackets, swap them side to side and front to back, then elongate the holes to allow them to be rotated slightly (bottom shock bracket) . Am not sure about the top bracket it might just be as simple as installing a upper shock stud thru the frame and voila your shock brackets are there and inexpensive. I have not done it myself but have looked into it for the same reason, to save money......Kieth
