Signs! Hieroglphics found on the Cyclops!!!
 

Business was slow, so I took the Cyclops (64') to my painter today to remove some old rattle can primer and reveal the obvious patina,......this is what he found..... ancient hieroglyphics from a past life as a "Sign's" shop truck. :metal: It doesn't get any cooler than this!!!! :chevy:
He got tired of me looking over his shoulder telling him to be careful, so he made me leave for a while. :lol:




And just think, I came close to selling this baby twice last week.:mm:

That's cool! I really like the lettering shape and color, especially against the white.

Have one of your striping/lettering guys go back over it with some One-Shot thinned out with a LOT of mineral spirits. Go over it one time, leave the brush marks in it, and call it good. You can knock it back with some mineral spirits and a Scotchbrite to take a little of the gloss out of it when it dries.

I'm anxious to see what else pops up during the "excavation" process!

Yeah, Danny (the painter) made it look eazy.

Big if! :mm: Replace the stock grill with a 63' grill and some chrome bumpers, and "hopefully" have it running by this weekend or next weekend. :smoke:

Rust-oleum aircraft remover (spraycan) and Dupli-color- specialty reducer, plus a whole bunch of rags. :lol:
