What interior parts are compatible with a 79?
 

I'm confused on what parts are compatible with what years when it comes to interior.

For example would a/b pillar pieces, dash cover, visors from a 76 chevy fit in my 79 gmc?

only one that jumps out is, will the pad have a hole for the vin
door panels are shorter.....but not on your list
I've gone the other way,using 89 in 78, pad,glass,vents,panels,seals,... no issues

Yeah I know the door panels are a bit different. I'm not quite to those yet. I have no trim at all though. A/B pillar and was looking at some from a 76. I would think they should fit fine. But obviously don't want them if they're not going to fit.

The headliner trim will all work fine.
