Time to say goodby to an old freind.... Grandma's Garden Truck.

After purchasing the last two trucks, I have decided that it was time to let one go. This was the truck that I took in part trade 6 years ago when I sold the silver "Garden Truck" that most people hear know about. It is in great condition, but Grandma likes my new 72 Custom Deluxe / Camper Special, big block truck better. It has been garage kept at least for as long as we have owned it. I told my Mom that she had better keep it in the garage, because out of sight is out of mind for me or I may have sold it many years ago... This isn't a for sale thread, as I may already have a buyer in Alaska for it. This ole truck has done lots around here and even still has beuty bark in the bed.... It will be missed and I will be sad to see it go. I just can't keep everything... ;) :gmc2: WES

Shame to see it go. You can't keep them all. I'd like one like that.

WES, when my kids were young they would get attached to a car/ truck that I had been working on and would have fits and sometimes just fall out crying because of me selling them. My daughter took my red Corvette sale real hard, the hardest on my son probably was either the pace car Camaro or the Hugger Orange 69 Camaro. They both cried for days when I sold my Chevelle. I had to make them understand the difference between a car collector and a car salesmen. Well that and the money is what kept them fed and in school. Jim
