Eagle 225 wheel now special order only
 

According to my Warehouse the Eagle 225 wheel is going to be a special order only wheel from now on . We can order them for anyone interested in them. they do require a deposit now to order them but we will be more than happy to order them for you. It will take approximately 6-8 weeks to get them.

We did order a pair of 20X10.0 5.50 backspace with 5 on 5 bolt pattern today. I also should have a pair of 20X8.50 with 4.50 backspace coming in shortly. These are available for purchase as of now.

Price on 18x8 and 18x10 to 75126.

It does not look like they build the 225 in 18" , If I find out differently I will let you know

20X8.50 = $295.00 ea 4.5'' or 5.0'' Backspace
20X10.0 = $315.00 ea 5.5'' or 6.0'' Backspace
at this time those are the only backspace choices showing.

Shipping to Hanford would run $132.30

Total would be $1352.30 and would include free lug nuts

That's weird, because they show them on their website. I had PM'd you about 18's as well. If you hear anything, I'd like to know as well.

According to my warehouse that have quit making 18'' barrels for the 225 , they are supposedly unique to the 225 wheel.

I emailed AE Wheel directly last night, & this is the response I got this morning:

"Hi there,
We still offer the 225 in both 18" and 20". However, this part has been changed from a regularly stocked item to a "custom order" item. We found this gives our customers more fitment options because you can specify what backspace you would like your wheels built to. Also, the 225 uses a 6061-spun forged outer hoop now. If your interested, please have your retailer place an order with one of our warehouses. They will turn that order over to a build sheet for our factory. the lead time is 6-8 weeks however that is more of a worst case scenario. If parts are in stock and ready to be assembled, we can usually complete orders in just a couple weeks. Hope that answers your questions!"

So the new wheels are different from the old wheels.... well im screwed, guess I will have to figure out something different now dayum.....

I called my warehouse guy again today and pushed him and low and behold they are available ....there are also 2 factory blems available right now in 18x10 with 5.0 bs ...... They are $255.00 ea + shpg

First lines
18x8 are $273.00 ea + shpg 4.5 bs
18x10 are $294.00 ea + shpg 5.0 bs

If there is indeed a difference in the wheels , I am still going have 2 of the earlier style in 20x8.5 like I was telling you about.

Is there any difference in price based upon backspacing? If I were purchasing a set, I'd rather have 18x8 with 5" backspacing up front & 18x10 rear with either 5.5 or 6" backspacing. Those are shown as being available options via AE's website. I do realize that there might be a wait time for something that's not readily available.

I did ask and I am waiting for an answer back about the hoops and if there is going to be any difference in the looks of the wheel .... I would bet that there isnt but I will get a definite answer. If they are different , I am definitely interested in buying your pair to go with my pair.

Based on what I have learned , I have a pair of the new style 20X10's 5.50 bs on order and I already have a pair of new style 20X8.5's 4.50 bs , I am picking up tomorrow . All will be 5on5 BP
