how many people leave the gas tank under the seat or move it under bed?

how about the battery? cut a bigger hole in the floor and get a new tray and cover or move it where? or a drop down tray under the floor? but you'd need to jack her up to get to it unless you got 12" clearance under running board which i wont have.
