65 Door Panel Screws- Chrome or painted?

Where the door panel screws on the 64 65 and 66 c-10's painted to match the clor of the door panel or where they left chrome? Mine where originally chromed, but the door panels had been repainted once and it appears that someone painted right over the chrome. When I removed them they are all chrome on the back side. Any help from you original gurus would be much appreciated. Thanks

Mine were painted over when the truck was painted. Always thought stainless would look good. Does a vendor sell chrome or stainless screws, or just hit up the hardware store?
