C20/ Camper Special Emblems
 

I haven't been able to find the "Silverado 20" or the "Camper Special 8,000LBS" emblems that go on the side of the truck.
I've looked in LMC and Classic Industry catalogs and couldn't find anything. Multiple web searches have come up with nothing as well.
Would anyone know where I could get a pair of them?

I was walking through a salvage yard the other day and there was a mid 70's Chevy C20 there. I am gonna go back in the next couple of days and see about getting the sidemarkers off of it. I'm almost positive the fender badges were there "Silverado 20" but don't recall looking to see if it had the Camper Special badges. I am a cousin of the salvage yard owner. They might just let me have the pieces if I want them. They only deal with newer autos now and this C20 was pushed to the FAR back of the lot, lol. Its pretty picked over. I think the original grill is still good in it along with the headlight bezels and clear front turn signal lenses. I will check it out for ya

You said you were looking for 8,000 G.V.W ones? I have seen 8,200 & 8,600, but not 8,000. ebay...

I thought Ford was the only one that used "Camper Special". Ours are "Custom Camper" Correct? Anyway regardless of what your parts truck has left, you might want to pick it over before it disappears.

Nope chevrolet does use "Camper Special"

This is my 1975 Chevrolet Silverado C20 as shown. All original emblems. Good luck with your search!

It's Custom Camper thru 72, then Camper Special 73 and up. Even some of the earliest 70's started showing up as Special Camper on the SPID, a 3rd variation on the theme. Ford was always Camper Special.

Just love the emblems for BOTH names... My favorite kinda truck. Still lookin for a 77-79 K20 Silverado Camper Special.... Any color would do just fine :)
