1966 K10 Suburban Ex Military according to the ad
Now the green interior color, would that be a military spec? He claims the truck has never been touched. Have you seen any military issued with the same interior color?

Well..it could have been a military rig. I see it was either a 3 speed manual or a powerglide auto. Most military rigs where green and where 4X4. :chevy:

Looks "touched" to me. The trans hump and floor are still fawn.

I'm thinking someone replaced the steering column. It has 4 sliding windows, I wonder if it has all the seats and Gasp! All 4 window locks?

Look closely at the heater controls, you can see green overspray on the levers and on the plastic that should be black. Overspray everywhere!

Re: 1966 K10 Suburban Ex Military according to the ad
do you have a picture of the truck. I see that it says suburban 1 ton on the tag. so then must have been special order as they didn't make 1 ton suburbans as such, but panels. they could have done a spec order for military or they were done through a coach builder.
there is a fellow out in Metchosin who has a 65 chev suburban that was US military and was used out ot the San Diego area. it was also raised about 3 inches. 115" wb ron |
