1987 r10 wiring harness

Okay so we took the tbi 350 that was in the truck out and put in a carbureted 350. Was wondering if I pull the computer and all the throttle body wiring harness out would my gauges, lights, etc. work. pretty much just like a pre-1987 chevy truck would be? Any info is appreciated.

The engine compartment/computer harness is all attached at the firewall/fuse panel connector, that sort of puts them into a packaged harness. And the interior harness is all wrapped together starting from the fuse panel.

I would believe to do a clean removal of the fuel injected harness you would need to find an '86 engine and dash harness and swap them out completely. But that is just my guess from looking at an '87 truck with it and not having done such a swap.

If you do complete and clean (uncut) swap I might be interested in the complete computer harness.

Yeah we took out the fuel injection harness and are replacing it with an older harness.

Is the harness in good useable shape?
