1990 tbi tranny swap question
 

Ok this is a 90 tbi 454 th400 1 ton but i am using the motor and harness in a different truck that was a 4 speed 4x4. The thing is since the truck was a auto and tbi the ecu is setup for the auto and i am going to be using a 90 5 speed in the other truck will i have to get a ecu for a manual tranny tbi 454 or will i be able to use this ecu and have no issues?

Should be no problem since both are 454 n tbi yes? The th400 never was electronic, as neither will the 5 speed. Now the speedo idk about that so good luck there.

Other truck wasn't 454 TBI but I am changing the whole harness inside and out to the 454. That was what I thought but I was just curious.

standard and auto trucks use the same ecm. speedo will be electric on both.
