move the battery or....

been looking around some, the battery on the 2004 chevy truck seems to be on the drivers side, I've been looking on the forum here, and it seems to be 50-50 on what guys are doing, i have the stuff to do either, whats the best route to go??? i plan on mounting the ecu and tac mod on the drivers side, i like the idea of using the 2004 battery wires (but going to top post) but what do you guys think???

I moved my battery to the drivers side, just to make room for my air filter on the passenger side, and so I could use the stock battery cables that came with the engine.

Dang, that is way nicer than mine. I just crammed the air filter up next to the battery on the pass side. Used the same cables I used with the 350.

I'm def gonna steal all those ideas :)

They are home-made bed strips, aka hardware store Sheetmetal Cleats lol. Because of the way my Trex bed is made with no real board gaps, I use sheet cleats slid over screw heads as fasteners (because of the channel in the cleat).

The whole thing, strips and all are getting coated over with Raptor Liner. It'll "look" like a wood bed, just cast under a layer of rubber. (sorta like it was on a hotwheels car.
