1960 C10 Won't Start! Help Please :(
Truck - 350ci motor, HEI, 700r4, 1960 Chassis
Story - started right up and pulled it out of the garage, washed it up. Go to start the truck to go cruise and she's dead as a door nail. First click of the key turns on stereo just fine, lights are all good, etc. Turn to start it and it wont even crank or anything. Tests - starter tested ok, battery tested ok and has 12.5 volts. Bought and installed new ignition switch, nothing changed. Tried jumping it, nothing. All connections checked, battery terminals cleaned, etc. Any ideas? I'm stumped.:whine: |

Check your fuse block and rewire the ignition switch...with new wire, also make sure your ignition wire is hooked up on the right terminals. There's a ground issue or electrical failure somewhere. :chevy:

Do you have 12v to the starter? Check your grounds as well.

You could have a fuseable link blowed.Gm used a wire that would burn into it acts a s a fuse
If the lights come on check at the starter if I remeber wright it goes on the solenoid right behind the batt cable. |
