Need some carb advise
 

It is becoming more and more apparent that I am in need of a new carb for my non integral head 250. I was Just wondering what carb would work best... I am inbetween a rochester 2 bbl from a 79ish truck and a 390 holly (although am open to new suggestions) by the way longevity is a big factor since i will be buying used... the engine is stock besides the hei but id like to eventually add a mild cam and headers. Input will be appreciated... Thanks
