Finally bagged the Panel
5 Attachment(s)
So I finally got to bag this bad boy. I purchased it from a fellow member here, (Jon) "60-66".
It is a '63 Custom with a 283 or 327?, (I can't tell, but that's another subject), auto trans. It had brake issues when bought and did a little bit of touch ups here and there. It has a Porterbuilt Stage 1 front kit, and a Stage 2 rear basic kit. 2.5 drop spindles with disc brake kit. Manual air management with dual Viair 444 kit and a 5 gal. air tank. It was a bit of a challenge to bolt up the c-notch but got it done. I had to loosen the body and raise it for clearances to tackle the job. My theory is, if we could send a man to the moon, anything is possible. Special thanks to Travis @AZ ProPerformance for his great services & Nate @PB Fabrications for his skills. And of course Jon (60-66). |

Re: Finally bagged the Panel
Very cool. All of my friends tell me I should bag my panel, but the static drop it has now keeps it looking good, while still driveable. Bags would be cool, but that sounds like some serious work and there is plenty of other areas that need a little TLC first... Plus I like having something that actually runs and drives and isn't sitting in a garage, hahaha.
Overall looks really good. Sand the floors, clean the engine bay up and clear the patina'd paint and then go drive the hell out of that beast. What was stock FTG and what is it now that it is bagged (at it's lowest setting and driving setting I guess)? |
