I'll make this story short.....:lol:
While attending an auto swapmeet yesterday, a guy comes up to me and sparks up a conversation about old Chevy trucks, after a couple of minutes of our chit-chat going back and forth he states that had he just picked up a super clean mostly stock 66' shorty about 3 weeks ago after searching for a very long time, but a week after he purchased it he gets the opportunity to buy a 71' short fleet that a friend of his owns and tells him he'll give him a great deal, so he buys that one too, now he doesn't have the room for two trucks, ;) that's where I come in. I think you know the rest......A 1966 Chevy, mostly unmolested, factory paint, 283/3spd. Enjoy the ride! :chevy::chevy::chevy:

Thanks sooooo much guys! I can't believe the overall condition of this truck, and...yes, they really are getting harder to find, (even for me) the former 3 week owner :lol: a real cool guy even threw in a correct "real McCoy" rear chrome sport bumper and brackets that he just traded for the "Bardon bumper" that was on the truck originally, and that went on last night!!!! ;) Now time to go clean it up and change a few things. :mm:

Easy my friend, It's been only 21 hours, ;) but luckily I'm like a little kid when it comes to old Chevies. :chevy: So here we go........

.....Unfortunately, I only had one stock 66' chrome cap, so I had to use what I had. I think it still looks ok.


Where's Keith "Lowlife 99"? :bann: Keith knows what I'm thinking with the 63' grill! :uhmk:
