How to correctly remove trim?

My friend has a 74' Chevy and all the trim and cab moldings are in great condition. He is parting out the truck and he said I could pull the trim off if I want it. I have never removed trim like this before and wanted to do it correctly so I don't damage any of it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: How to correctly remove trim?

I think there are 3/8" nuts on the inside of the doors that go through holes in the door and hold on clips that the mouldings attach to on the outside of the doors.

Try taking off the door panels and look inside with a flashlight to see for sure.
