Uppwe A/C mounts for LS

1 Attachment(s)
I am looking for some pics of upper A/C mounts.
I have Dirty Dingos and they will not fit in the area between the inner fender.
I can not use a lower mount and I do not want to go with a whole new front runner system.
This is on a 5.3 truck engine.
We changed to a 2010 Camaro pump but that did not work out with alignment of crank shaft and power steering pump, so went back to the truck pump

Re: Uppwe A/C mounts for LS

Thank You, Ithink that one will fit the area we have to work in.

The Holley bracket extends too far into the inner fender area of the 46 Chevy pick up just like the Dirty Dingo one we have, which will be up for auction as it will not fit this truck

Re: Uppwe A/C mounts for LS

It looks like yours is a 5.3 truck LS correct?
Did you have to change the truck P S and alternator bracket?
Did the bracket come with a tensioner/ideler?
The water pump looks to be a truck, but the instructions say you need to use Camaro what am I seeing in your picture?
Sorry for all the questions, but I do not want to duplicate any more parts that do not work !!

Re: Uppwe A/C mounts for LS

I was thinking the truck and 10+ Camaro units had the same front spacing.... just the alt/ps bracket is different...

Which power steering pump did you use, the Saganaw or the two part pump?

That could be... just meant pulley alignment wise...

Stock LS 2500HD pump.

Re: Uppwe A/C mounts for LS

the 2010 Camaro pump should be an ideal fit if everything else is stock truck acc.
is your truck motor a vvt motor? if so you wil need the l99 Camaro pump not the ls3 pump.

The 2010+ Camaro pumps are the same LS3 or L99. The only difference is the timing cover and harness.

No. Like I said, just a stock 2500HD power steering pump, like this one.

This is the same bracket that I have, it looks great and was easy to install just make sure you order the right mounting hardware for your motor. Some pics of mine on a 2011 5.3

The only difference is that most (all?) of the 2500 pump are hydroboost pumps. They are externally the same, except for a 2nd oil return to the reservoir.
