Need help truck starts at Half throttle

I installed a new rebuilt Q-jet carb on my pickup, I swapped the climate control housing and electric choke over before installation. The truck will fire right up hit 2500 rpm by itself then die. Any ideas ?

Sounds like your choke needs adjusted properly.
