Has anyone every seen this truck? Buddy of mine used to drive it back in the day. Wondering if it got restored or what happened to it exactly.

No one I know owns a white AD |

I haven't seen many... I think I've seen yours... Do you have orange striping on it? Is it a manual? If so, almost broke my neck and rear ended someone admiring it.

The good thing and bad thing is that with a wheel and tire change and maybe a slight stance change that truck takes on a whole new appearance and hides right in front of you.
Just reading this board daily shows you that guys normally make changes within days of purchase to make these trucks their own so seeing it on the street as is was most likely won't happen. |

Very true.. Thad what I would do, you never know the owner might be on here, or know where it's at and there I go to scoop it up 😄

Have you ever considered the possibilities that the buyer or the buyer after that one made such serious changes to the truck that it is no longer his "old truck" but their truck that they bought and updated? Then there is the chance that the truck has become part of that person's family and it isn't for sale at any price. Not everyone will up and sell a truck or car just because the previous owner's buddy or relative shows up on the doorstep and begs to get it.
The 51 Mercury I owned for 33 years is a case in point. Although it was the official "not for sale at any price" car I ran on hard times and the guy who bought it had cash green money in his hand. He also spent close to 20,000 on it making it his own in that he fixed every flaw on the car and painted it top and bottom and put a seriously by nice interior in it. It is no longer my old car but is the car that I used to own that he took and made his own and made a pretty nice car out of. Not the way I had planned to build it but he didn't make any changes that a trip to the chrome shop and a trip to the tire shop can't fix. |

You never know, you might run into it some time when you aren't even expecting it. Even if it has changed, if there is any identifying item that you would recognize, just keep looking.
I bought a new 1964 Sport Fury convertible, 426/4spd, triple black, in March 1964, and sold it 1968. About five years ago I saw a restored red on red Sport Fury convertible at a Mopar show, and I started talking to the owner and found out it was my old car. |
