Windows and door handle repair

I have a 1969 C10 longbed. My driver side window is very lose cause the track is worn out and broken. So unless the window is rolled all the way up or down it rattles back and forth like its going to break. And the handles and stems to roll the windows up and down are worn out from previous owner using vice grips. So i want to put all new guides for the driver and passenger windows and i want to install new stems and handles and put new window mmechanism that rolls windows up and down on driver and passenger side. I wanted some help on where i could get these things, where is a good place to buy them, do they come in a kit, and are they easy to install? Any info or help would be very appreciated

LMC Truck I'm sure sells them. Some of the vendors on here probably do also, and the quality may be better. If nobody chimes in have a look around the site, somewhere there's a link to all of the vendors.

Gmc Paul's sells good weather stripping. I would avoid LMC. Search gmc Paul's and his website will pop up.

I would probably get the window mechanism from the parts board. I'm sure someone will have a good set that will probably last longer than the repop, for cheaper. Clean them up, lubricate, and they'll probably last another 45 years.

Ok thanks. Are the mechanisms that roll the windows up and down easy to install??

window regulators are pretty simple to replace. Might need a third hand to help hold the window up when you take everything loose. Also a great time to replace all the rubber pieces while you've got all that apart. Personally, I have had really good luck with Classic Parts of America. Prices are fair and part quality is very good. Like everybody, sometimes run into backorder issues, but they are usually pretty quick at getting that handled, too.

Ok good. What are all the rubber pieces and tracks that the windows slide in called?
