Sheetmetal Recommendation?

Any recommendations for cab sheetmetal and fenders for a 1968 SWB. I know about LMC but have heard there might be better outfits to go with.

Thought Id reach out to you guys.

Happy Memorial Day!

Thx!

Agreed. Unless you're looking for patch panels, I think the best source is Craigslist. I was able to find two 100 percent rust free doors, fender, bed and tailgate. The parts are out there and probably for less money that the repop stuff that may or may not fit.

Reach out to board member Special-K. He's right there in your area. I'm sure he can point you in the right direction.

I am looking for Patch panels for the cab, supports rockers, outer floor..

i always search before I post, but if its a generic term like "sheet metal" you get a zillion threads and it takes forever to look at each one.

Thats why I asked the question.

thx

I got good cab corners, cab supports and rocker panels from Brothers. Some people don't like Brothers and they have had some things on back order, but the quality of the panels were real good.

I think your pretty safe with patch panels although they will still ne some altering. Oem metal is worth the search. I bought a re pop fender, don't remember the brand and was very unhappy with the fit. My bed and tailgate are both re pop and fit great
