Question for those with Billet Dash Bezels
I ordered a Billet dash bezel online, received it yesterday. Now I know this just goes over the stock dash bezel. However there are only two holes (top two corners) on the billet piece that line up with the stock holes.
So basically I just want to clarify the install process. Should I have the stock piece in place then just screw the billet piece into it? I hope I making sense here. |
Yep. Screw it into the stock bezel. None of my screws lined up. What kind did you get, brushed or polished?

There's two screw hole's in the center of the panel just outboard of the turn sig holes that are extra and have to have holes drilled into the plastic dash for the screw's.
At least on my truck anyways. I went a little further than most and used some 10/32 stainless machine screws and taped threads into the screw lug's and the two extra holes in the plastic dash panel i mentioned befor. But you can also do it the way mike said but you will still need to provide the two extra holes. Hey Mike did you see moe's custom user text! hehehe :p |
Here's the way mine looks, not installed of course. None of the holes line up with any of the dash bezel mounting screw holes.

Thanks for the responses, I ordered the polished bezel. I can't wait to get everything back in. I also ordered the polished shifter handle and the bezel came with the trim piece for the dash pad...

Cool. Show us some pics when you get it done.
