Your mounts uses the tall end link style mounts. Should be something similar to whats in these pics

Re: i.d sway bar
the old ones were about 8-9 inches long figured i would just get shorter ones after drop but sway bar hits tie rod, shouldnt bar be somewhat parallel to ground

Re: i.d sway bar
I went thru this on my Tahoe when I lowered it and they were too long.. Once I made them shorter, they worked fine.

Re: i.d sway bar
Try end links for a 77-96 Caprice. I bet they'll work perfectly. I've got a couple spare Caprice bars here, I should try one out...

Attachment 1261423thanks for info i will check that out, heres another pic,i was wondering why you would have to get different mounts for lowered truck when this mounts directly to frame

Re: i.d sway bar
That is not a truck sway bar. It is from a car that someone has adapted to you'r truck.

Re: i.d sway bar
so would i be better off finding another one?
|
Re: i.d sway bar
I would just remove that sway bar and install a truck sway bar and brackets. Most of the '73+ trucks came with sway bars. The '73+ C20's and C30's had an optional 1-1/4" diameter sway bar.
