Grille/headlamp swap
 

I currenty own and drive a 1998 1500 and just purchased a 1995 GMC 1500. The 98 has dual headlamps while the 95 has the singles. I want to put the grille and dual headlamps from the 98 on the 95. Just curious if anyone knows if they will bolt right in or if there is some wiring or whatever that has to be changed/modified.

I want to put the Chevy grille/headlamps on the GMC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its a bolt in swap, but you'll need to address the wiring. As far as bolt in, the holes are there for the different headlight set ups on your core support. The wiring is different because the one truck only has one headlight per side while the other has two. The colors for the wiring are the same, just one has it split into two plugs rather than in a single plug. Some guys swap the front light harness when they do the swap. I usually just splice the wires out.
