front suspension Assembly 73-87
Its going to be put on my 68, I've read about the swaps on here (thanks!) But my post is regarding the purchase... talked to a guy at the local yard, he wants $100 for the front Assy
What do you think?? My 68 now has half truck half car drum brakes, I'm wanting things to match and know what parts I need later in its life and think the 100 for it is a decent price... |

Sure, if it's in decent shape. Try pricing all that separately.

Re: front suspension Assembly 73-87
I was paying 150-200 for a cut off ten years ago. A 100 in today's money is a good deal. Try to get him to just cut the entire frame at the firewall for you. That gets you sway bars, prop valve and lines and steering box. Take the lines from the master cylinder out. It all bolts right in and you get those lovely GM bent lines that fit perfect.
