My first build
 

Hey everyone my name is Jacob and this is my first build. When I was 17, I started my first build while I was still attending collision repair school. I am currently 23 and am finally starting to get this build really rolling. I started with a long bed that I bought when I was 16, but really was itching for a shortbed. With the help of my stepdad he found me a rolled shortbed that we could use the frame and the bed. The shortbed he found was once a longbed that someone had cut down to make a shortbed, which I'm ok with cus this thing is just gonna be a toy. I completely stripped down the frame and sent it and all the suspension stuff off to get powder coated. While my frame and suspension was away we went through a 454 big block that I bought off a friend. I went ahead and went with a turbo 400 that we had sitting around, the trans in the pic is just a 3 speed we used to mock up the trans crossmember. I wish I would have taken pictures while I was doing the tear down, but I'm sure everyone on here has seen their fair share of bare frames.

On my truck I did a 2.5/4 drop, and went with a 6 lug set up so I could go with some new style wheels. I work at a salvage yard so I get the hook up on some pretty sweet stuff that I can use on my truck. I picked up some sweet 20" & 22" black replica ss wheels to use.

Thank you sir, when I got these rims I actually was lucky enough to get a spare 20" and a spare 22" wheel.
