74 rear drum HELP

Working on my 74 K5 . The rear drum needs replacing . The problem is , the stock drums have adj slot in the drum . The after market drums do not have adj slot . My backing plates do not have adj slots . So what do I do know ????????? CUT slot in backing plate ? Anyone sell drums with rubber plug in front with slot cut in it like stock drum ? Is the 74 self adj ?

Yes
Factory option for bigger brakes , car quest had them
Still no adj slot ?? But not going to worry about it
