Flexible neck for welder.....

I have just bought a swans neck from WELD USA[HTP] and it is so slick. That thing will move from anything all out straight to any angle you might need to get around. I bought it because I was welding up the structure on the frame rails and it was real tight so I ordered it and it made it one thousand times easier to fit the welder gun in there and get it done. I assume this is for a MIG? How does heavier (.035) wire feed when its at a tight radius?

Brew, I have not run anything but my 0.23 through the gun but It did come with a 0.35 tip in the gun so I would say that they had that in mind when they designed it. The thing I have caught myself doing is squeezing the trigger and moving the nozzle and tip end making the end very versatile. Jim

I had one on my Lincoln and ran 035. Its a nice gun my only issue was if your shaky handed like me it makes the shake worse. One cool thing about is is that if your in a tight spot and can't move the gun hand but can reach the nose you can move just the nozzle in what ever direction you need to about an inch and a half
