That thing would really need to be examined in person thoroughly! I've never seen a truck with rust like that, that didn't need extensive panel replacement. Could be a good buy for someone.

Sure looks like board member schrumgmcs old truck. If thats the case, i would say that "previously one family owned" was true until it had a couple of owners since...

Every vehicle in existence was "previously one family owned", right? What would make more sense would be the provenance of my truck - "One owner from 1969 to 2011".

My Pontiac is a one-family car (me and my long-since-departed Dad), from new to now. Since my kids and parents and grandmother and even great-grandmother have all ridden in it over the years that's five generations in the same car!

But as for this truck, unless there's $3K in unmarked bills in the glovebox, seems really high to me.

Edit: I now paid attention and see it's a SWB, which helps the value. And yeah, "provenance" is a pretty fancy word for a truck. It's OK on a GMC, but I wouldn't try it on a Chevy :-)

Looks to be in better shape than the 72 k10 swb I just bought for $1500. Heck, even the $1650 one is in better shape. Maybe I should have held off a bit

By the look of that floor I would expect underneath to be much worse on rust. Might need a new floor. And after having done that before I wouldn't say the truck is worth more than 1000 to 1200 with all the work that gos into replacing a floor.
