My third post - more pictures and clarifications

Just got back from paying for my newly acquired truck. I'm picking it up on Thursday, but today I grabbed all the parts that come with it; many of which are going straight to the Classified or Craig's List.

The truck is a K10, it has its original frame and six-lug wheels (so much for my attention to detail). The seller has owned the truck for 30 years, but had started working on it last year before deciding that he wanted to clean house and head to Florida.

The truck has lots of good upgrades, and some stuff I'd like to reverse. It needs work, but that is mostly mechanical. The seller got it running on starter fluid, but the carburetor needs to be rebuilt. That and tires for the steel wheels that I want to use are my priorities. And a bed.

Cool but wow, even without tires, that thing is tall. Doesn't look like it will fit in the garage as it sits, let alone with tires mounted. Nice score.

Thanks. There is a lift kit I will need to remove... eventually.

that truck looks to be in great shape, especially for that neck of the woods. (I lived in New England 60 years) nice find, and yeah, at stock height they are way up there. I think they look great, mine sits on 31" tires on 15x8's.

It just squeezed in like that, with the tires off. I'm not sure at this point if it is lifted or not. It is tall.

I agree, that is a stock height '64-'66 K10.

That is a nice looking truck......different paint scheme. Lots of work has already been done. Does it come with a bed?

Good to know that I don't have to take anything apart. I'll deal with the height. The truck comes with parts of a '75 bed that I don't want to use. I'm in the market for a short bed; step side or fleet side, whichever I can find.
