Switching from LWB to LNB
Drunk ran up in my yard and wiped out driver's side of my LWB. Gonna have to get a new bed, thinking about switching to LNB, ya don't see too many of them around. What all changes would I have to make?

Re: Switching from LWB to LNB
Sorry to hear about that. I think it will bolt right on . But you will have to change rear bumpers. Won't have as much bed space. A long wide truck is easier to sell than a long step. I have turned down several.

Re: Switching from LWB to LNB
That sucks. FYI, LWB=Long Wheel Base (didn't understand you at first). Besides that, I'll agree you loose a lot of bed space with a stepside and they seem to be the least desirable/hardest to sell trucks. If it's what you want, go for it. As already noted, I think you just need the stepside rear bumper and the cab filler panels.

Sorry hear about the truck damage. Did they catch the driver of the other car?

I hope insurance takes care of you, or he ends up paying restitution.

Re: Switching from LWB to LNB
I did this with my 63, it was a bolt on operation, I did need to source the cab filler panels off a step, and the rear bumper and brackets, as the others have mentioned.
