Disc Brake Upgrade
So I bought a disc brake kit yesterday from a guy that got it from Brothers. Today I got the passenger side on and decided to set the wheel on to see how it looked. Come to find out the center hub is too big for my 22" rims and it will not even go on. I got the conversion kit so I didn't have to use the 2" spacers anymore. I thought the wheels were supposed to mount flush on the rotors? My question is... Are there rotors that have a smaller and shorter center hub that can be used with the spindles? TIA

Re: Disc Brake Upgrade
Well I assume that the rotors are 73 to 87. I don't know if there is a smaller center rotor. Do you know what the wheels you got were supposed to fit?

Re: Disc Brake Upgrade
Its not so much the thickness of the hub on the rotor. Its more the dept in which its hitting the rim. Im going to see about the two piece setup with drilled and slotted rotors.

Re: Disc Brake Upgrade
Is t possible to have the center hub of the rotor machined down an inch?

Re: Disc Brake Upgrade
There is not an inch of material to remove.
