Need a little guidance
Can anyone make a recommendation for a reputable online source for salvage parts? I need a large part, shipping won't be cheap, and hassles with return shipping if what I end up buying is not what was advertised will not work for me..So far I am not having much luck locally and google has been less than helpful in this case.
I am sorry to be kind of obscure on the details. I do not want to give the impression I am trying to make a classified post against the forum rules and therefore I will not reply to any queries on what I need in the interest of keeping with the rules. Also, if this post is taken as pushing the limits of the rules, please accept my apology and take it down as I am not sure I have the ability to delete it myself. Just looking to see if anyone can make some suggestions for some good mega-salvage yards that will ship a large part. Thank you. |
Re: Need a little guidance
Don't your local salvage yards have a computer link up for finding parts?
They do up here. I've sourced parts from eastern Canada. They ship on the bulk method. Yours, mine and several more shipped togethor. And since you bought from the local guy, if you're not happy with the parts you don't need to worry about shipping them back. Sometimes they'll charge you a small stocking charge. That way the internet is a big salvage yard. |
