If i am reading your question right you have a deluxe heater from a 55 and you want to put it in your 57, if this is correct than,Yes it will go in the same location and fit. if you by chance are upgrading from a standard heater that some trucks had, to the deluxe heater, than there is a Difference in the way they bolted up and were the heater core tubes exited out of the fire wall!
Good Luck with your Truck

Yes the Harrison Deluxe heater systems are the same from 55-59. I agree with Daze, mine throws off a TON of heat.

Yo DG
i am very familiar with these heater units
did you or you planning on getting the ebay one ? if so i have a couple things to help ya out .
A) It looks like its all there but if you get it - make sure it has a heater core in itand have it checked out (boiled out and pressure checked .
B) Make sure it has a good complete water valve in the larger unit - new ones are available for about 60 bucks .
i have worked on alot of these units and when rebuilt they work great !
C) Make sure motor for fan unit turns freely and is not shot . new ones are available for about 70 bucks
if you have any questions or need some help just holler !!!! c;tres bien ?
