Big Block Engine Swap Question
 
I am getting together the parts to swap a 454 from a 1998 GMC Suburban into my 1984 GMC Jimmy. Will the engine mount brackets that go from the frame down to the crow member work from the 1984, if not from the 1998? I have the complete Suburban so I am going to keep it around till the swap is done.
Also, if anyone has experienced any issues with this swap I would love to hear about them while getting ready to do this thing, so I can prepare.

You might want to try somewhere besides the LS section (454's aren't really our specialty), you'll probably get more responses in the general Engine & Drivetrain section.
