DJM suspension????
has anyone used DJM upper and lower control arms and their lowering springs??? i was looking at the front lowering kit, the 2 inch control arms and the 3 inch springs. if i do lower it that much what problems will i run into? it is a 1972 chevy shortbed 1/2 ton 2wd. thanks for the help.

I haven't installed a set of their control arms but DJM offers top notch components. Very happy with everything I've ordered.
BTW, the setup you are considering should be a simple bolt-in task. I don't know what size wheels you have but there may be clearance issues with 15's. Nothing a grinder can't solve though. :) |
sweet, they quoted me 796$ for upper and lower control arms and springs for the front today, does that sound about right?

I've installed 4 sets of DJM arms. upper and lowers, along with their drop springs. Top notch stuff for sure. Go for it....you'll be very happy with their components.

do i have to use the upper control arms? can i just use the stock ones?
|
I dunno if they offer a upper for yoru truck but the benifit if they do is that it has some corrected geometry characteristics to simplift the alignment....it is not needed though, a stocker will do.

I've used DJM arms on 3 different drops I've done and they were excellent components. I will be getting a set of thier uppers for my wifes truck when I put the bags in. :D
