Power Steering Box

I want to improve the stock power steering on my 69 C-10 BB. Can the IROC steering box fit as a direct replacement, it looks the same and I have installed it in my 69 Camaro. I realize the rag joint and hoses will have to be changed.
Thanks, Guys

Re: Power Steering Box

The Camaro box is mounted inside the frame and the truck box is mounted outside the frame. They are not directly interchangeable.

I haven't done it. But it might be possible to put the guts of the IROC box into the truck housing. To have any success you have to know how to set up a steering box.

Early Classics has a 12:1 box for our trucks which is faster than the IROC 14:1 box and IT FITS!
